Ancient Persia was a vast land,including Afghanistan,bordering with China in the East Persians and Chinese had a great influence on Far East and West Asia.During this period,Persian Empire and Chinese Empire contacted each other.The neighborhoods and traditions of various departments had a great influence on the civilization and culture of the two empires In this context,many Chinese scholars and native speakers of Persian have begun to study the cultural differences between China and native speakers of Persian,but so far no scholars have studied the comparative analysis of Chinese Persian proverbsTherefore,this paper aims to explore the similarities and differences of Chinese and Persian proverbs through a comparative study of them.By studying and comparing the Chinese and Persian proverbs,we can understand the similarities and differences in national culture,customs and psychological characteristics of the two nations,so as to promote and deepen mutual understanding and friendship between the two nationsThis study makes a comparative analysis of Chinese and Persian proverbs through the proverbs commonly used in Chinese and Persian,in order to make people know more about the similarities and differences between Chinese and Persian proverbs,as well as the cultural background of the two nationsThis paper is divided into four chapters.The first part is the introduction of the paper,which explains the purpose,significance and current situation of the research.The second chapter makes clear the source of Chinese&Persian proverbs,and makes a comparative analysis of the characteristics of Chinese&Persian proverbs.The third chapter analyzes the main reasons for the differences of Chinese&Persian proverbs from the aspects of geography,climate and cultural factors.The fourth chapter this paper puts forward some suggestions for the teaching of Chinese proverbs to the students whose mother tongue is Persian.I hope this paper can provide necessary reference and help for the interested learners.
