A Collation And Research Of The Annotations On Bronze Inscriptions In Yang Bojun's Chunqiu Zuozhuan Zhu

Yang Bojun was a famous linguist in the 20th century.He has made great achievements in the compilation and annotation of ancient books.Yang Bojun's Chunqiu Zuozhuan Zhu?????is an essential reference for modern scholars to study Zuo Zhuan??.This book focuses on the dual evidence method,making full use of bronzes handed down and the newly unearthed bronze wares in archeological work to corroborate its notes.There are 155notes on bronze wares and inscriptions,which are rich in materials and worthy of sorting and research.This article focuses on collating and researching the inscriptions quoted in Yang Bojun's Chunqiu Zuozhuan Zhu?????.The thesis is divided into three parts:introduction,text and appendix.The introduction part briefly introduces the book-making process and influence of Chunqiu Zuozhuan Zhu?????,as well as the research background and methods of this article.The text is divided into six chapters according to the content of the annotations.The first chapter is about words.There are many examples of inscriptions in Yang's notes to explain the words.This chapter studies these notes.The second to fourth chapters are about the country and the characters,studying the artifacts of the vassal states and characters listed in the Chunqiu Zuozhuan Zhu?????.The content is mainly divided into two aspects.If Yang Bojun's example of the inscription is appropriate,the archeological type is used.The text of the study and inscriptions briefly explains the age of the artifact.If Yang Bojun's example is incorrect,it is not an artifact related to this country or person,then a corresponding reason is given.In addition,there are many examples in Yang's note that quote bronzes or inscriptions to explain etiquette and historical events.Based on this,they are divided into five and six chapters to conduct targeted research on the issues mentioned by Yang.Two appendices are attached at the end of the article.Appendix I is quoted by the inscriptions cited by Yang Bojun's Chunqiu Zuozhuan Zhu?????.The inscriptions listed in this article are listed one by one to explain their page numbers in Yang'book,original bibliographic numbers,Ji Cheng??bibliographic numbers,Ming Tu??bibliographic numbers,and page numbers in this article.Appendix II is a list of related bibliographic references cited by Yang Bojun.Appendix III is the abbreviated list of descriptions,which describes the descriptions of the books in which the bronze inscriptions are cited.
