A Study On The Social Life Of Buyi Nationality

Based on the literature of Buyi Nationality,this paper makes a concrete analysis of Buyi's unique social life by using multi-disciplinary research methods.Buyi has a long history and profound cultural heritage.According to the records of Chinese classics,it can be traced back to the ancient Yue people.In the long-term historical development process,the Buyi ancestors will record and inherit the accumulated historical culture in different ways to form national ancient books and materials,including literature classics,oral inheritance and inscriptions on steles,which involve the economy,politics,history,law,religion,astronomy and calendar of various nationalities.In addition to the myths,legends,ballads and stories handed down orally by the Buyi folk artists,there are pieces of Bouyei square characters created by Buyi ancestors imitating Chinese characters,most of which were recorded in the Qing Dynasty.The contents involve the origin of Buyi Nationality,funeral customs and marriage customs,which are the first-hand materials for the study of Buyi's history and culture.In the process of historical development,Buyi Nationality's name is determined step by step,how to form its own unique national social life,how to live with other nationalities,and how to maintain its own national uniqueness can be reflected in historical books.This can strengthen the national cultural identity and promote the diversified development of national culture.This paper is mainly composed of six parts :The introduction first clarifies the background and significance of the topic.According to the research status at home and abroad and the existing preservation situation of Buyi ancient books,it makes an overall grasp of the current domestic scholars' research on Buyi classics.The first chapter mainly introduces the history and classics of Buyi Nationality.On the one hand,it combs the historical development of Buyi Nationality in ancient books.On the other hand,it sorts out the distribution areas of Buyi classics and the characteristic contents of the main records of the Buyi classics.It also discusses therelationship between Buyi characters,books and Han culture,and the characteristics of Buyi classics.In the second chapter,we can understand the Buyi people's realistic construction of the early human society from the ancient songs and myths recorded in the ancient books.The Buyi people's thinking about the origin of mankind and the world is a reflection of the primitive world outlook and outlook on life.The third chapter explores the Buyi people's economic life from the ancient books.The general economic life includes agriculture,handicraft industry and commerce.Buyi is the most traditional agricultural nation,not only diligent in farming,but also summed up rich production and living experience in labor,reflecting a long farming culture.In addition to the long history of agriculture,Buyi people's handicraft industry is also highly skilled,with materials ranging from wood to iron,and exquisite workmanship of clothing,musical instruments and accessories to meet daily needs.As a traditional agricultural ethnic group,Buyi people are not good at business,but they are willing to learn and try.In their economic life,they also conduct business with other ethnic groups through various markets.The fourth chapter mainly studies the daily life and ethnic relations of Buyi Nationality.Daily life includes diet,architecture and clothing.One side of the soil and water nurtures the other side of the people.The unique geography breeds the unique Buyi people.First,the diet habits of the Buyi people are closely related to the use of fire.They use fire to barbecue food,make bacon,Ciba,steam grain and wine.In addition,acid food also plays an important role in Buyi diet.Second,it records the changes of Buyi's living style with the changes of social productivity.Third,the study of Buyi clothing culture,starting from the material,color,technology.Fifthly,the study of the relationship between the Buyi Nationality and the surrounding ethnic groups mainly reflects three complex situations: peaceful coexistence,economic,cultural exchanges and war.The fifth chapter studies the spiritual life of Buyi,mainly including Buyifestivals,marriage and ethics.Festivals and weddings are an important part of Buyi people's social life.Ethics is an important standard of Buyi people's life,from which we can better explore their national spirit and connotation.
