Since the reform and opening up 40 years ago,Poster art in China has experienced the manifestation of getting rid of the old and bringing forth the new,the gradual development of the market and the great change and development process of the digital technology revolution.This paper studies Chinese posters during the 40 years of reform and opening up from 1978 to 2018.From the point of view of art design,this paper discusses the design features,technical update,reasons for change,and changes in the development of the industry of posters in China.Combing and summarizing the development vein and design style of Chinese poster design in the past 40 years of reform and opening up,and analyzing the development trend of Chinese poster design.First,combined with the knowledge of design,communication,sociology and other disciplines,this study sorts out and summarizes the poster design of China in the past 40 years of reform and opening up through literature screening,case analysis,case demonstration and other research methods.Starting from the third plenary session of the11 th central committee in 1978,this paper divided Chinese posters into stages,summarized the characteristics of posters in different periods and the main changes with the development of The Times,and tried to present the outline of the evolution of posters in different times.Secondly,under the background of poster art in different periods,the theme,composition,font and color of the poster were analyzed in depth to reveal the horizontal and vertical visual differences and changes of posters under different creative backgrounds.Finally,this paper analyzes the development trend of poster design in China and the basic situation of poster form under the background of digital technology.From this,the following basic views can be summarized: on the one hand,innovative posters based on the means of living in the 1980 s,creative posters based on the trend of internationalization in the 1990 s,and interactive posters based on multi-dimensional communication since 2008 are the important features.The evolution of poster design style is multi-level,which summarizes the influence of aesthetic thoughts,the progress of printing technology,the international environment,the development of design art education and other factors.On the other hand,it develops from traditional,single and static to cross-dimensional,experiential and interactive form,and verifies the poster trend and research results with design practice.
