Expressionism emerged as an artistic emotional thought and technique of expression in painting.At the beginning of the 20 th century,the term expressionism involved in various fields.Expressionist painting was produced under the combined action of some internal factors and social reality in Germany at that time.Later,expressionist painting spread around the world,because most intellectuals were also very sensitive and unsatisfied in spirit,which also promoted the popularity of expressionist painting.It is in such a historical period that expressionist painters inherited the style of post-impressionism.In the post-impressionist art,the expression of subjective consciousness and the bold expression of color emotion are recognized by everyone,and they also inherit these advantages.Expressionism is good at expressing conflict,distortion and complexity with strong colors.Expressionist painting,outstanding personality,bold colors The brushwork is exaggerated.At the same time,also with zhang crazy powerful,rich lines to shape the image,has a strong artistic appeal.This paper focuses on the color and emotion of expressionist painting.Firstly,it summarizes the connotation of expressionist painting and its historical changes.Secondly,it discusses expressionist painting from three aspects.The first aspect is to explore the emotional expression of its strong colors.The second aspect is the way of expression of picture lines and strong brushstrokes.The third aspect is the description of the diversity of color in painting.Finally,it analyzes the expression of emotion in image form from three aspects.The first is emotional expression from the heart;The second aspect is the expression of social cognitive emotion;The third aspect is the emotion produced by the painter's personal experience,that is,the expression of emotion.
