In the face of the world situation in which national status is measured by comprehensive national strength,competition between countries has evolved from material power to competition for national soft power.In recent years,as one of the symbol of national soft power,the national image has received more and more attention.Under the influence of theory “one Belt one Road”,China is standing on the world stage with a new attitude,and the reflection of the national image is particularly important.This thesis selects Thai students in Kunming as the object to investigate the cognitive changes of their China's image,and analyzes the influencing factors of their cognitive changes through grounded theory.This thesis is divided into five parts.The first part is an introduction.Through reading the literature and collecting information,the thesis briefly introduces the research background,research significance,research status,research methods and possible innovations of this thesis.The first chapter introduces the basic information of the research object and the collection and collation of the original data.then analyzes the cognitive changes of the China's image of Thai students in Kunming.Firstly,the descriptive elements of China's image recognition of Thai students in Kunming were extracted from the original data.According to the factors,the changes of several aspects of China's image cognition of Thai students were sorted out.In addition to the negative attitudes of Thai students to Chinese national quality,evaluation of China's economy,culture,social life,government,etc.has improved;The second chapter analyzes the influencing factors of the cognitive changes in the China's image of Thai students through grounded theory.The third chapter is the conclusion of this thesis and reflections on the China's image communication.
