Since the end of the twentieth century, with the rapid development of social economy and science and technology, society has entered the post-modern era.In this era, with the help of media technology, consumerist ideas have pervaded all areas of modern life, causing a major change in the consumption consciousness of the entire human society, and also causing many social contradictions.Among them, the global pan-aesthetic problem caused by this change has aroused widespread concern of scholars. This pan-aesthetic phenomenon has not only caused significant changes on people's real lifestyles, but also promoted to a huge change in the way of people thinking about life.Wolfgang Welsch,a well-known postmodernist in Germany, noticed such an overly aesthetic phenomenon,so he proposed a new aesthetic ontology for contemporary social life.Based on this, this article takes Welsch's living aesthetics as the research object, and intends to explore Welch's theoretical understanding of the phenomenon of over-spreading global aesthetics from three levels: historical background, the aestheticization of daily life, and new idea. The first chapter of the article analyzes the historical background of Welsch's life aesthetics. In the course of studying Welsch's related books,I found that Welsch's living aesthetics has a very strong personal color. The causes of this color mainly include the following aspects: The first is the impact of the post-modern pluralistic and open cultural context and the principle of supremacy of consumption; The second is influenced by German speculative philosophers such as Schiller,Kant,Nietzsche;the third is influenced by postmodernist philosophers such as Liotta,Wittgenstein. In addition,Welch's own rich learning and living experience also had an important impact on his aesthetic research. The second chapter mainly discusses the phenomenon of aesthetic generalization encountered by people in post-modern society from the perspective of the theory of "the aestheticization of daily life".In this regard,Welsch understands the aestheticization of daily life in post-modern society from two levels: "shallow" and "deep".The former is mainly manifested in the stage of material aestheticization, that is,fashionable decoration of urban space in daily life, hedonism of cultural space, aesthetic excess in the art industry and excessive aesthetic packaging in the economicfield. These are everyday superficial aestheticization in life. The latter is a deeper level of contemporary aesthetic popularization in the realm of life, which is mainly manifested in immaterial aestheticization, which is the stage of spiritual aestheticization. The perspectives of the interaction between ethics and cognition and the real life explain the deeper aesthetic phenomenon in real life. The third chapter mainly discusses the phenomenon of over-aestheticization in the post-modern society from the perspective of the combination of aesthetic experience and artistic experience, hoping to provide some theoretical guidance for the aesthetics of daily life.Welsh believes that life aesthetics is the third type of aesthetics, which is different from Kant's aesthetic type of aesthetic observation, and also different from Baumgarden's sense-cognitive aesthetic type.It is a new type of aesthetics based on interest. This new type of aesthetics transcends the traditional anthropocentrism aesthetics. It is the harmony between aesthetic utilitarianism and non-utilitarianism,and the coordination between aesthetic creativity and contingency. Therefore,he proposes to shape the living aesthetics and change the alienation of people in society through the path of artistic intervention in life. The conclusion part mainly summarizes the contribution of Welsch's life aesthetic thoughts to western aesthetics and some of its theoretical shortcomings,as well as the inspiration to Chinese aesthetics.
