Eric Whitaker is one of the most popular modern musicians,and his chorus works "The Seal Lullaby" and "Lux Aurumque" are repertoire performed by major choirs in recent years.This article takes "The Seal Lullaby" and "Lux Aurumque" as the research objects,and conducts specific research and analysis from the aspects of the creation background,debugging analysis,harmony use,rehearsal of difficult points,and command design,and finally summarizes it.The full text is divided into three parts.The first part first introduces the composer and the background of the work.The second part starts from the analysis of the melody,the use of harmony,the annotation of the score,the use of leaning and passing sounds,the comparison of the material of the theme,and The use of compound chords,semi-tonalized creation techniques,etc.carried out a specific theoretical analysis of the musical ontology of the two works.The third part is the interpretation of the works.First,the author combined his own professional knowledge to learn and rehearse the practice summary after the performance.Then,the final expressions of the two works are interpreted respectively in the form of command design,and then the conductor 's overall grasp of the changes in mood and strength during the rehearsal and the specific difficulties of the two works and their solutions are detailed.
