| "Grand opera" is a serious opera genre born in France.It usually contains four or five scenes.It focuses on historical themes.It has many roles and pursues luxurious stage effects.The show is often interspersed with gorgeous ballet scenes.No need to clarify the narration,often use chorus and grand band effects to create a magnificent scene.This genre was mainly popular in the nineteenth century and is usually translated as "Great Opera" or "French Opera" in Chinese.As one of the most popular stage music genres in the first half of the nineteenth century,French Grand Opera was not only the only genre that could compete with Italian opera at the time,but also an important genre that had actively promoted the development of local opera in other countries.This article aims to make a thematic investigation on the international influence of French opera,and take the large opera works of German composer Wagner and Italian composer Verdi as examples to analyze the deep motivations and artistic attempts of different composers when citing elements of the grand opera.In order to explain the vitality and influence of the big opera.The thesis is divided into three chapters:The first chapter,"The Formation,Development and Dissemination of French Opera",discusses the development trajectory of the artistic characteristics of the Grand Opera,its development in France,and its dissemination profile outside France;the second chapter,"Analysis of the International Influence of French Opera",discusses the main artistic characteristics of the Grand Opera,the similarities and differences in the transmission of this genre,and its impact on the formation of local operas in other countries;Chapter Ⅲ,"The International Influence of French Opera "Case",selected two of the most influential opera composers in the 19th century-Wagner and Verdi,taking their most representative big opera as a case to analyze the deep motivation and artistic effect of accepting the elements of big opera. |
