Study Of Declarative Sentences In The Spoken Parts Of Yuan Qu Xuan

Yuan Qu Xuan is compiled by Zang Jinshu during Ming Dynasty.It’s the most influential and the most plentiful yuan drama collection that remain extant in China at the present time.Yuan Qu Xuan is an important documentation in the study of spoken language in Modern Chinese,because its spoken parts can truly reflect the oral appearance of Yuan Dynasty and Ming Dynasty.This paper mainly focuses on the declarative sentences in spoken parts of Yuan Qu Xuan,makes the exhaustive statistics,analyses the differences and developments of contents,sentence patterns and modal particles to summarize the features of spoken parts.This paper consists of five chapters.The first chapter states the topic’s origin,introduces the research status of declarative sentence in the spoken parts of Yuan Qu Xuan,and summarizes the significance,methods,objects of the research.The second chapter studies the classifications of declarative sentences.Based on the existing opinions and achievements,this chapter divides declarative sentences into fours parts,the predicative sentences,the descriptive sentences,the narrative sentences and the subjective sentences,analyses the differences of contents and the features of sentences’presentation methods.The third chapter studies the sentence patterns of declarative sentences,mainly focuses on the predicative sentences based on“shi”,the disposal structure,the passive structure,the Bi-constituent structure and the serial verb structure.According to the constructions,we classify and summarize the those sentences’structure features and developments.The fourth chapter studies the modal particles in declarative sentence,focuses on the modal particles which emerge in ancient Chinese including“ye”(也),“yi”(矣),“er”(耳)and the modal particles which emerge in modern Chinese including“li”(哩),“le”(了),“de”(的),“lai”(来),“zan”(咱),“zhe”(者),“bian le”(便了),“bo”(波),“ba”(罢),“ba le”(罢了).In addition,we also research the co-use of modal particles,includes“le ye”(了也),“le ba”(了罢)and“zhe bo”(者波).Based on the existing opinions and achievements,we compare those modal particles diachronically and analyse the developments of theirs’grammatical functions’.The fifth chapter is the conclusion.Combined with the research content of the full text,this part mainly summarizes the features of declarative Sentences in spoken parts,and analyse the important role that it plays in the development process of declarative sentences.
