In the process of the establishment of modern and contemporary Chinese literature,it is of great significance to discover and interpret "classic" writers.The research on the process of the author's canonization is not only a summary of the research results of the new literature writers,but also a foundation and demonstration for the contemporary literature canonization,which is an inevitable requirement for the further development of the discipline.As an important participant in the new culture movement,Yu Dafu has gradually completed the classical position since he published the novel collection "sinking" in 1921,and has become a recognized classical writer in the history of modern Chinese literature.The canonization of Yu Dafu's image is the result of many factors,and it also reflects the possible canonization path of modern Chinese writers and works.As the creative subject,the influence of Yu Dafu's own literary quality on the emergence and development of new literature is the prerequisite for him to become a famous writer in the May 4th movement,and also the foundation and premise for the classicalization of Yu Dafu's image.In the great changes of social transformation,Yu Dafu realized the confirmation of "aesthetic classics" and "times classics" in the history of literature with his personal creation experience and aesthetic experience and the cultural requirements of the same era.His literary creation has an innovative meaning in the history of modern Chinese literature,which is embodied in his lyric and romantic creation characteristics,which are the same as those of the world's romanticism literature The integration of the traditional Chinese literature and the modern transformation of its latent classical character and creativity.This paper will focus on the "event" to investigate the "production mechanism" behind the classicalization of Yu Dafu's image,not stick to the text investigation,and judge the actual role of "event" in the process of the classicalization of Yu Dafu'simage through the historical investigation of specific "literary event" and "life event".The social effect caused by specific works and the distribution of cultural capital in the literary field;the cultural familiarization effect produced by life events as a cultural celebrity;and the writing ethics and aesthetic principles behind the generation of "events" are the main directions of investigation.The compilation of literary history is based on the confirmation of the influence of the logical power and discourse power of historical works on writers.The canonization process of Yu Dafu's image can be regarded as the tortuous development of modern literary history and modern writers.Since the 1980 s,with the process of constructing the openness of literary history writing,the studies of Yu Dafu from Hong Kong,Taiwan and overseas in different periods have formed a dialogue relationship with the mainland academic circles,especially in the South Ocean literature such as Malaysia and China,Yu Dafu's image has been reconstructed and changed.The long and fluctuating course of the classicalization of Yu Dafu's image fully illustrates the complexity of Yu Dafu's image in the historical precipitation and the choice of the times.
