Macbeth,as one of the four tragedies of Shakespeare,the great dramatist of the British Renaissance,has been widely concerned by all walks of life since its publication.Since its publication,the drama has aroused heated discussions in the academic circle.Based on Macbeth and Deleuze's theoretical criticism,this paper analyzes and interprets the text from the perspectives of the theory of desire machine,the philosophy of becoming and the theory of rhizome.The introduction mainly summarizes the research of Macbeth.First of all,it expounds the research background and significance of Macbeth,then summarizes and analyzes the research status of the tragedy at home and abroad,and finally explains the innovation,ideas and methods of this paper.The first chapter starts with the theoretical basis and function of Deleuze's theoretical criticism,and introduces the theory of “desire machine”,the literary view of “becoming” and the diversified theory of“rhizome”,which provides theoretical support for the further study of the great work.The second chapter focuses on the theory of “desire machine”.Desire machine is productive.The connection of new desire will diffuse itself in the whole social field,so as to transform all social relations and reality.This chapter starts from the two characters of Macbeth's desire and Banco's desire,and probes into the subversive power of desire machine to human beings.This tragedy stems from the fact that desire is also destroyed by desire.The excessive production of desire machine causes distortion and alienation to human nature and society.The third chapter focuses on the theory of “becoming” to interpret the text.Becoming is a kind of dismantling of binary opposition,which aims to enhance the ethical value of the individual's free vitality,and has certain enlightenment significance to modern society.This chapter focuses on Lady Macbeth's attempt to break through the power mode of “binary opposition” and the supernatural forces such as witches and ghosts that have shaken the position of the center of human subject.In the fourth chapter,“rhizome” thinking becomes the main theoretical basis,and more breakthroughs are achieved through the principles of connection,heterogeneity,anti signifier fission and decal transfer of rootstock thinking.This chapter starts from the creation background of Macbeth and the global adaptation of movies and operas,and deeply interprets the multiple connection of rooting in the work in these two different aspects,and the resulting value far beyond the text of Macbeth.The fifth chapter mainly expounds the Enlightenment of Macbeth for the reconstruction of human civilization and world order,including the reflection of deconstruction and reconstruction of self,fromhierarchical order to equal order and the symbiotic relationship between text and culture,so as to provide a new way for people.The conclusion part mainly returns to the root of Deleuze's theory criticism,and explains the practical significance of his theory through Macbeth.Macbeth,under the care of Deleuze's theoretical criticism,is full of the vitality of the times.It not only rebelled against the image of the traditional characters,but also borrowed and broke through the traditional literary theory,and constantly derived new artistic forms.Today,it still provides experience and lessons for personal development and even the progress of human civilization.Based on the theory of Deleuze's criticism,this paper,profoundly explores the profound and meaningful core value hidden in Macbeth which not only expands people's understanding of the signicant work,but also guides people's reflection on the real world.
