Today’s newly-married couples are a generation who pursues personalization.They hope to show their love at the wedding ceremony,highlight their true emotions,styles and pursuits.They hope that the visual image of the wedding will be more specific,emotional and unique,and they are willing to pay for the quality of the wedding.However,the wedding visual image generally has the problems of homogeneity of content,deviation from the emotional appeal of the newly-married couples,and the lack of emotional design thinking of wedding designers.The current visual image design of normal wedding is difficult to satisfy the newly-married couples’ urgent emotional demands for the wedding.Applying emotional design to the wedding visual image is a topic worthy of attention and explorationStarting from the introduction of immersive themed wedding,the paper analyzes the wedding custom culture and emotional information conveyed by the visual image of the wedding by using literature research,case analysis and other methods,interprets the theme,emotion and immersion of immersive theme wedding,and deeply analyzes the media transformation and visual characteristics of the visual image of immersive theme wedding.It further analyzes the connotation of emotional design in instinct layer,behavior layer and reflection layer and the relationship between the three.At the same time,it analyzes the emotional information transmitted by different forms,colors and materials.Based on that,from the perspective of immersive themed wedding,according to the ‘emotional design theory’ of American psychologist Professor Norman,and using the emotional appeal of newly-married couples and guests as the starting point,the application of emotional design in wedding visual products is explored.This paper also sums up the innovative ideas of emotional design in the application of wedding visual image by combining the application of questionnaires,mind map and other methods,that is,to explore multi-dimensional emotions,focus on highly emotional themes,accurately apply design elements,adhere to the people-oriented design concept,improve the design of interaction and recognition and emphasis on integrating into the innovation of cultural connotation.Finally,according to the above results,we have completed the emotional design of the visual image of the immersive themed wedding of ‘Sock One Star’.The application of the emotional design theory in the visual image design of the theme wedding not only expands the application space of the emotional design theory,but also benefits the emotional expression of the visual image design of the theme wedding,highlights the theme of the theme wedding,shows the values of the new,wakes up the good memories of the new and the guests,and solves the homogenization and design of the visual image design of the wedding industry and the mode of design mentality and other issues.The case practice of this paper provides a case reference for the wedding visual image designer,which is helpful to solve the pain point of the wedding visual image design industry.And it has both theoretical and practical significance.
