In modern Chinese, modal adverbs in the‘Zhong Yu'class‘zhongyu(??),zhongjiu(??),daodi(??),bijing(??)'are widely used,Their meanings are mutually interpreted and their usage is close. They also represent modal adverbs of typical and marginal parts of speech, and express the subjective understanding and evaluation of the speaker. It is helpful to deepen the understanding of the nature of modal adverbs to examine their subjectivity and subjectiveness. There are two ways to study two related problems:synchronic and diachronic,Therefore, this paper discusses the subjectivity and subjectivisation of modal adverbs in the‘Zhong Yu'class,it insists on quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis, and investigates the subjectivisation process of modal adverbs in the‘Zhong Yu'class from the diachronic level, and analyzes their subjective expression from the synchronic level. The introduction includes the research object, research purpose and significance, research status and research methods and the sources of corpus. The text is divided into three chapters:the first chapter mainly investigates the subjectivisation of modal adverbs.Firstly, the paper investigates the transformation from propositional function to speech function in the subjectivisation of such words, that is,the evolution from verbal phrases to modal adverbs.Secondly, this paper analyzes the law of subjectivisation of these words from objective to subjective. In the early 1950s,‘zhongyu'(??)experienced a process from low subjectivity to high subjectivity; After that,"finally"is mainly used subjectively in mainland China and objectively in Taiwan.‘zhongjiu'(??),‘daodi'(??),and‘bijing'(??)can construct a meaning continuum from objective meaning to subjective meaning, and the evolution of meaning reflects the process of subjectivisation. That is,the process of the change from the verb meaning to the vice meaning. The subjectivization of modal adverbs is affected by syntactic position and function. The higher the syntactic position, the larger the scope of jurisdiction, the stronger the subjectivity and the weaker the objectivity. The second chapter mainly investigates the subjectivity and interactive subjectivity of modal adverbs in the‘Zhong Yu'class. This paper mainly analyzes the subjectivity in the aspects of subjective perspective, subjective emotion, cognitive modality and interpretive level of words in communication. In perspective,‘zhongyu'(??)is the subject perspective,‘zhongjiu'(??)'bijing'(??)is the speaker perspective; On the emotional level,‘zhongyu'(??)means the feeling of praise,‘zhongjiu'(??)means the feeling of optimism; At the cognitive level,‘zhongyu'(??)and'zhongjiu'(??)belong to temporal subjective cognition, and‘bijing'(??)belongs to comparative reasoning cognition. The understanding layer formed by the definition of‘daodi'(??)reflects subjectivity. In terms of interactive subjectivity, the use of‘zhongjiu'(??)and‘bijing'(??)is helpful to mitigate negative or negative evaluation and take care of the‘face'of the listener.‘daodi'(??)expresses the affirmation or positive evaluation of the speaker, which shows that the speaker gives the listener full choice and thinking space, out of the consideration of‘face'of the listener. The third chapter mainly investigates the subjective mechanism and subjective difference of modal adverbs in the ‘Zhong Yu' class. In terms of the subjective mechanism,it is mainly studied from four aspects: the reanalysis of the syntactic structure and the semantic fictionalization, the metaphorical mechanism and the analogical mechanism. In the aspect of subjective difference,it mainly investigates from five aspects: natural word order and specific word order, subjective mark, speaker subject and sentence subject, negation and negation of result, free form and sticky form. The conclusion part summarizes the content of the paper, and points out that the article needs to be improved.
