The arrival of the information society and the reform of education and teaching make English more and more important in our life.In view of the importance of English learning,it is more important to explore effective ways to learn English.In years,a lot of scholars,linguists and teachers have paid much attention to Phonics Method.The Phonics can avoid the interference of the international phonetic symbols,improve the efficiency of memorizing vocabulary,and promote the development of language skills of primary school students.Using the positive transfer of Chinese pin yin to learn a second language is in line with the cognitive learning habits of primary school students.This is of great significance to the English learning of primary school students.The use of Phonics teaching Method in primary school English teaching can solve the problems of poor English learning autonomy and weak interest in learning.This is very important for English teaching in primary schools.However,at present,the Phonics still does not have a scientific application process in the actual operation.For example,the teachers lack of systematic and coherence in the teaching process,which leads to its insufficient effect.Therefore,based on the study on the application of Phonics in primary school English Teaching,the application of this article embarks from the practical teaching,teachers and students through interviews.The writer analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of Phonics teaching Method of the current Wen xi county primary school,given a set of reasonable natural phonics teaching steps.
