The material for this simulated simultaneous interpretation is two panel meetings hosted by Christine Lagarde,a well-known financial who was the managing director of International Monetary Fund(IMF)at that time,at the 2019 IMF and World Bank's Spring Meeting. The meetings are highly professional with a high information density, concerning main development trends and their implications. The practice report summarizes different types of high information density in meetings and corresponding simultaneous interpreting strategies through analyzing typical problems during the simulated simultaneous interpreting process.Omission and generalization could be adopted for high-density information caused by coordinate structures.Syntactic linearity and waiting can be chosen for high-density information resulting from post-modifiers.Augmented interpreting and logical manifestation can be applied for high-density information caused by complicated logic relationship. The practice report presents a detailed summary regarding the coping strategies for high density information in simultaneous interpreting, which not only improves the interpreter's ability, but also provides reference for other interpreters to improve the quality and efficiency in simultaneous interpreting.
