Worrying Mentality And The Writing Of Literature In The Book Of Songs

The Book of Songs is a collection of poems describing the social life of Zhou Dynasty from many angles.Because of the history,culture,nature,geography and other factors,Zhou people's thoughts are full of a strong worrying mentality,and it also runs through the vast majority of The Book of Songs.Except the introduction and conclusion,my thesis consists of four parts.Chapter 1: "Worrying" and The Book of Songs' s worrying mentality.As a kind of psychological feeling,"worrying" is the foundation of the formation of worrying mentality.From the primitive society's worrying mentality developed to the Zhou Dynasty,its system has become more and more complete.And the mature worrying mentality in the Book of Songs is not only closely related to the social and historical background of Zhou Dynasty,but also forms the distinctive characteristics of Zhou people,such as introspection,people-oriented,living,overall situation and responsibility.Chapter 2: The words of worrying mentality in The Book of songs.The Book of Songs contains a rich and varied corpus for expressing worrying mentality.The related forms of these words are: single word,double word,idiom and saying,and other forms of artistic expression.It can be said that their existence greatly enriches the scope of literary and emotional writing of poetry,broadens the vocabulary expression space of ancient Chinese,and makes the presentation of worrying mentality in the Book of Songs more cultural charm.Chapter 3: Bixing images of worrying mentality in The Book of Songs."Bixing" technique is one of the most important artistic features of The Book of Songs.It is worth noting that many of the animals,plants and objects commonly used in Bixing contain specific feelings of distress,which can assist poems to express their worrying mentality.For example,according to legend,The pre-Qin women competing to collect “Fuyi” for giving birth to more sons.So,“Fuyi” is a symbol of women worrying offsprings in patriarchal society.Therefore,The more indirect expression forms contain worrying mentality,it is also an important way to express the meanings by means of various kinds of Bixing images.Chapter 4: The expression of worrying mentality of the characters in The Book of Songs.Worrying mentality was not limited to a certain group,but existed widely all the time.However,The different classes of people's worrying performance style has its own characteristics.Poems which show that the emperors care at night and respect the ancestors of Heaven and Law often have a cautious and solemn style;When the ministers worry about the country and the people,their poems show integrity and zeal;The small officials are afraid of slander and self-injury,they show unyielding resistance and call;Common people usuallyworry about their relatives or friends suffering misfortune and fear of homelessness.Generally speaking,people who live in Zhou Dynasty attach importance to clan and kinship.
