This paper explores the definitions of chamber music and the development of violin sonata in the classical period. My study of Beethoven's violin sonata is about how present the works according to its cultural background and the intention of the composer and the coordination between piano and violin parts through analyzing the music work and using appropriate techniques of both the left and the right hands,in order to restore the historical style and the original composition.I have taken Beethoven's Violin Sonata No.5 in F major,Opus 24 as an example, and analyzed it from a perspective of a violinist. This thesis for musicians to interprets works from the classical period and preserves the essence of chamber music by learning from historical performing style.I wish this thesis would be a starting point of a further discussion. The musicians could use the concepts and methods mentioned here to coordinate with their counterparts and to restore the historical scene. When we practice and perform the music,we should not only pay attention to the technical value of the works but also understand its aesthetic and pay respect to the composer's idea. Then we can integrate with the partners to perform the complete works to better extend.
