The Underlying Logic Of Hirokazu Abe's Film

In this paper,we use as the subject of textual research all the film works made by Yuwa Abe from 1995 to the end of 2018,proving that there is a "dark line" in his creative career,which is the observation of "authenticity".This viewpoint is different from the reality of establishing a benchmark in a fictional film story,but is derived from his experiences in making documentaries,which gradually transcend the properties of the documentary itself and extend out to form a set of personal value system and code of conduct through long-term reflection and continuous exploration,which is eventually projected in his film works.Moreover,by comparing his film works with the period,we can clearly find a kind of excavation and progress in the concept of "authenticity".This depth of conceptual and philosophical reflection,in turn,guided the practice and the work,leading to more obvious changes in the three periods,from the selection of materials to the style and expression of the director's personal interest.The originality of matter and events from the documentary perspective gradually rises to the reflection on the essence of the real,and as a result,a stable aesthetic character of "knowledge and action" at the level of "authenticity",more "unity".
