Purpose: The purpose of experiment 1 is to explore the feasibility of applying the "yes" or "no" judgment response method to the study of the degree of self-reference effect and the scientificity of the personal pronouns "myself" and "others" as stimuli of different self-related degrees. In experiment 2,the subjects were divided into the involved group, the informed group and the innocent group by the way of simulating the spy contact. The method of experiment 1was used to explore the differences in the degree of self-reference effect of the three groups of subjects, and to find out the method to identify the involved group, the informed group and the innocent group. Methods: In experiment 1,21 college students were selected as subjects. The experiment was designed with 2 self-related types("myself" and "others")× 2 response method("yes" judgment and "no" judgment)by adopting a within-subject design.E-prime2.0 was used to present the stimuli and record the reaction time and accuracy of the subjects. In experiment 2,39 college students were selected as subjects, and the experiment design adopted the two-factor mixed experiment design of involvement degree 3(involvement group, informed group, innocent group)× self-related types 2("myself","others").The subjects' ERP data was recorded synchronously by Neuroscan 64 Ag/AgCl electrode cap. Results: Experiment 1: There were significant differences among different self-related types. The accuracy of "myself" was higher than that of "others",and the reaction time was shorter than that of "others".There was no significant difference in "yes" or "no" judgment response method.Experiment 2: In terms of behavioral data, the accuracy of "myself" and "others" in the involved group were significantly different, and "myself" was higher than "others".The difference of the informed group was marginal significant, with "others" higher than "myself".There was no significant difference in the innocent group. In reaction time, there was a significant difference in the involved group, and "myself" was shorter than "others".There were no significant differences in the informed group and the innocent group. In terms of ERP data,in component P2,“others” waveform of the informed group was more positive than“myself”,while "myself" waveform of the innocent group was more positive than “others”.In component P3,the waveform of "others" in the involved group and the informed group was more positive than "myself",while that of "myself" in the innocent group was more positive than "others".Conclusion :1."yes" or "no" judgment response method will not interfere with the research results of the degree of self-reference effect. The personal pronouns "myself" and "others" can be used as representations of high and low self-related stimuli.2.Behavioral data can discriminate the involved group, the informed group and the innocent group. In ERP data,P2 component is not sensitive to distinguish the the involved group, the informed group and the innocent group, while P3 component is more effective to discriminate the innocent group.3.The degree of self-threat and the memory related to the case affect the degree of self-reference effect: the self-processing advantage of the involved group disappears in case of high self-threat.When case-related memory of the informed group is inconsistent with the high self-related stimuli, the recognition of the case information have more processing advantages, and the selfprocessing advantage disappears. In the innocent group, the degree of self-threat is low,and there is no case-related memory,so they have the degree of self-reference effect.
