Naipaul is one of the “Three Great Migrants” in the British literary world. His multiple cultural backgrounds and travel experiences in the Third World provided him with a wealth of realistic materials. Most of his works revolved around the intricate relationship between the empire and the colonies.Reflecting Western control and influence over the Third World. However, the academic circles at home and abroad have always neglected the natural environment in his works. This paper believes that Naipaul’s natural writing has subverted the western dualistic view of humans /animals,civilization / barbarism, and has the function of resolving Western discourse hegemony.Naipaul ’s works are examined in the context of post-colonial ecology, and inferior marginalized groups such as colored people, animals, plants, and women in his works are analyzed in depth to conclude that the third world ’s natural environment Deterioration is closely related to the Western colonization movement in history.During the process of colonization, native plants lost their living space, animals were mass-produced,and the spread of Christian culture in the colonies forced the indigenous people to sever the connection with nature and destroy it.The traditional concept of harmony between the indigenous people and nature. In the post-colonial era,the West used the favorable situation of globalization to provide technical "assistance" to poor third world countries and vigorously promoted the importance of development. The government’s blind pursuit of the speed of economic construction not only did not improve the quality of life of the people but instead Caused waste of resources and environmental pollution. The author attacked the selfishness and narrowness of the anthropocentrism with a cold tone, deconstructed the empire’s discourse hegemony on race and species, and demonstrated the importance of the Third World’s struggle for environmental justice and social justice.
