This research adopts the method of psychobiography, the founder of the Ming Dynasty Zhu Yuanzhang in Chinese history as the research object, using his own articles, issued edicts, and historical materials recording his life as research materials, using various psychology theory makes a deep analysis of Zhu Yuanzhang's life experience,in order to interpret the two major suspicious problems that exist in him.One is how the poor can be crowned as emperors? The second is why the reuse and suppression of the scholars?Through analysis,it is found that the reason why Zhu Yuanzhang was able to follow the path of God from the poor.First of all,it was because of he joined the peasant rebels to bring him a better life, and he chose to be driven by the psychological motivation of a serious lack of security in his early years.Secondly, his self-identity was established in the rebel army under the care and guidance of the leader guo zixing, which made him clear on his future path: to join the battlefield and become the leader of the separatist party, which provided him with an opportunity to fight for the throne in the troubled times.Thirdly, when he was struggling to achieve his life goal, the emergence of scholars such as feng guo-yong and li shan-chang gave him a strategic blueprint to plan in the troubled times, and germinated his ambition to capture the world in the troubled times, which provided the possibility for him to possess the world in the future. Finally, under the influence of a large number of scholars, his identity as a“reader” led him to cultivate a powerful “think tank” around him, which was the core of why he can dominate the world.Due to Zhu Yuanzhang's courtesy and reuse of scholars,he finally succeeded in the throne, but after taking the throne, his attitude towards the scholars changed drastically.Investigating the reasons, first of all,It's because some Confucians refused to be called as officials and deliberately opposed Zhu Yuanzhang's regime, which caused a deviation between Zhu Yuanzhang's internal identity standards and the sense of the self as perceived by the outside world. This resulted in the struggle of the identity of "reader" in the process of debugging his identity. The fuse that triggered his attitude change.Secondly, due to his humble origins, the disgraceful experience of a monk, and thelegendary jade seal that did not obtain the symbol of “Destiny”,Zhu Yuanzhang sitting on a dragon chair had a deep inferiority, which was the psychological root of his suppression of scholars. Finally,Zhu Yuanzhang's complicated growth environment and life experience in the early years made him gradually develop a skeptical character, which played a catalytic role in dealing with the problem of literati and Confucian scholars, which led him to crack down on literati and Confucian scholars. To sum up,Zhu Yuanzhang's fundamental transformation from poor to emperor lies in his recognition of the identity of a "reader",and his suppression of the reader is also a hesitation of the identity of the reader. It can be seen that different identities will produce individual cognition and behavior important influence, and for us now,it reveals that we should properly deal with our identity issues to better develop and improve ourselves.
