The Study Of News Reports About The Relationship Between China And The British In The Issue Of Tibet In Qing-Dynasty In Shunpao(1872-1912)

“ Shunpao ”was announced the concept that “We are committed to everyone that the politics of the country,the change of custom,the diplomatic incident between China and foreign,the positive and negative aspects of business dealings,the shocking things and the refreshing everts will be published in our newspaper” when it was first published and the attention of the press has been focused on conflicts,wars,trade,travel and other important diplomatic issues between China and foreign.After the British through war,treaty and other means have successively seized territorial sovereignty over China's eastern coast and northern border and divided their spheres of influence in China's core territory,the imperialist countries turned their eyes to Tibet in the southwest of China,so that Tibet has become a new arena for the competition of imperialist forces.This paper takes the Sino-British Tibetan representation in “ Shunpao ” in lateQing dynasty as the research object.Comprehensive use of content analysis,historical comparison and other qualitative research methods.This paper sorts out and classifies the Sino-British Tibetan negotiation reports of “ Shunpao” in the late-Qing dynasty.Focusing on trade,war,travel,sovereignty and other topics,this paper analyzes the process and characteristics of the report on Sino-British Tibetan negotiations in “ Shunpao”.The reports in “ Shunpao” for the Sino-British representation of Tibet showed the characteristics of "conflict" in the late-Qing dynasty.This conflict is manifested in the contest and game between China and Britain on such topics as trade,railway construction,war and sovereignty.However,this game affected the political situation of Tibet and the governance of Tibet by the Qing court.In the main part of this article,in order to "trade and road","war","sovereignty" three most distinctive entitled to guide,to the original " Shunpao " reports such as the material for combining with comb,summary reports of " Shunpao " characteristics under different topics and changes,and around this summarize the contents of three parts,an overview for the report of " Shunpao " newspapers and social relations,newspapers and relationship between the frontier and the spread of newspapers and national consciousness.This paper holds that the report on the Sino-British Tibetan negotiations in " Shunpao” has important research value,realistic value and historical value.The Tibetrelated reports of " Shunpao” show the influence of modern national consciousness on the thoughts of " Shunpao” and the transformation process of " Shunpao” 's social responsibility.
