Venus graphic as a common theme in the history of Western Art,created by artists Susanna Valadon and Modigliani,having a brand new appearance and complex social connotation.In this paper,two artists living in Paris in the 20 th century are selected to explore how they can present different Venus under the condition of the interaction between the commonness and individuality of the times.I try to analyze the reasons for the differences,including the growing environment and experience of the two people,the communication with colleagues in the art circle,the influence of personality on artistic creation,and the origin of their artistic thoughts.The author not only attempts to explore the development history of Venus graphic,but also reveals the difficult learning path of female artists and the physical effects of Venus graphic in the era of visual culture.The purpose of this paper is to clarify how gender consciousness affects the shaping of classical graphic and the trend of modern art concept.
