In recent years,China's civil aviation industry has developed rapidly,followed by a rapid escalation in demand for importing advanced airport ground support equipment from abroad.Therefore,the number of instructions of these devices to be translated has surged up as well.Confronted with increasing foreign equipment instructions,how to translate them in time becomes an urgent issue to be solved.Machine translation platforms make it possible.But based on defects of machine translation platforms,the quality of machine translation still needs to be improved.Hence,weaknesses of machine translation is inclined to be optimized by employing post-editing in order to complete the translation rapidly and efficiently under the premise of quality.This report is written on post-editing of machine translation of F396 P Aircraft Tow Tractor Maintenance Instruction.Under the guidance of Skopos Theory,modifications of errors in machine translation are made through post editing with the usage of translation methods and techniques,thus enhancing correctness of machine translation.
