Nowadays,the violence crime does great harm to the society and threatens people's life and property.Therefore,the study of violent crime is very necessary.In recent years,the influence factors of violence attitude are increasing.Some researches have explored the influence of violence video and social environment on violence attitude.Moreover,prisons are currently testing offenders primarily with questionnaires.Because of the social sensitivity of violent crime,it is necessary to use implicit method to explore the influence of self-control on implicit violent attitude.Therefore,on the basis of the existing research,this study uses a variety of methods to further explore the violent attitude of violent offenders.Previous studies have found that self-control is negatively related to explicit violent attitudes,but the relationship between self-control and implicit violent attitudes is not clear.While individual crime is accidental,impulsive and an irrational decision-making process,whether it is intentional destruction of public property,violent crime or criminal behavior,it is closely related to low self-control and criminal opportunity,low self-control would explain all the criminal behavior.The incarcerated violent offenders are a special group.From their inner strength,we study their influence on violent attitude.Can provide the basis and the instruction to the prison management personnel later reform,thus effectively helps them to complete the reform,after the sentence completes smoothly rejoins the society.In this study,the self-control ability and explicit and implicit attitudes towards violence of prisoners were investigated through questionnaires and behavior experiments,trying to figure out what caused the crime.This study consists of two parts.Experiment 1 examined the effect of self-control on explicit violence attitudes by using the self-control scale,Buss-Perry scale,the second experiment examined the influence of self-control on implicit violence attitude by self-control scale and IAT.The second experiment examined the influence of self-control on implicit violence attitude.The study participants included112 violent prisoners from a prison and 112 from the General Social Group.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)there is implicit violence attitude.(2)there is a separation between implicit and explicit violent attitudes.(3)self-controlcan effectively negatively predict explicit violence attitudes,but it is not related to implicit violence attitudes.(4)there is no significant difference in self-control and explicit violence attitude between violent criminals and normal social groups.(5)violent criminals have more positive implicit attitudes toward violence than normal social groups.
