In Japanese-Chinese simultaneous interpretation, translators with Chinese as the mother tongue and Japanese as the second language are more likely to be disturbed by the source language due to the language pair itself, the direction of interpretation and the characteristics of Japanese and Chinese syntax and vocabulary.Source language interference is closely related to the quality of interpretation. When the translator is aware that the source language is interfering with the output,he/she may make self-repair,which in turn affects the fluency of the target language. The case studied in this paper is the meeting of the third quarter financial presentation of Soft Bank Group in the fiscal year 2020.In the simultaneous interpretation of the simulated meeting from Japanese to Chinese, the author made self-repair for many times due to the interference of the source language. In the field of interpreting research, the first study of the source language interference and self-repair for Japanese and Chinese language for study is few.Referring to the previous research,as well as the actual situation of the case, the case of this article can be divided into necessary and unnecessary self-repair,at the same time can be divided into two categories of vocabulary, syntax, the information corrected.Through case analysis, the author finds that "unnecessary self-repair" account for nearly half of the cases from the perspective of the necessity of amendments.Sometimes the target language is affected by the source language, but it is not necessary to amend, but the author still makes amendments. From the perspective of revision subjects, the revision of vocabulary accounts for more than half, among which the cases related to Japanese and Chinese isomorphic words account for more than 60%.Therefore,the author puts forward two strategies: reducing the number of self-repairs and reducing the negative impact of the self-repairs.In terms of reducing the number of self-repairs,based on previous studies, the author puts forward three strategies to avoid the interference of source language from three aspects: improving the understanding of source language, breaking away from language shell, and enriching the expression of target language. At the same time,in view of the unnecessary self-repair,the author thinks that the rationalization of energy distribution is a better solution. In order to reduce the negative effects of self-repair,the author gives the countermeasures from two perspectives of choosing appropriate break points and improving expression.
