Despite the vast research on the theme of Source Language Interference in Interpretation, very little research has been aimed at interpreting from B language into C language.Hence, the objective of this paper is to analyze Source Language Interference(SLI)in consecutive interpreting from English into Chinese, and provide some tentative solutions, especially intended for multilingual interpreters. The analysis is based on the transcript of APEC CEO Summit 2016 mock conference and it includes a comparative survey and cause analysis.I will examine SLI on two levels, lexical and syntactic,as well as the influence it may have on the interpreting process. Finally,I will provide strategies for dealing with SLI which include general and specific approaches.
