Cross-cultural Narration Of Character Documentaries

In the time of the international field of vision is more and more attention,what should cross-cultural documentary creation,there are many factors is different from the traditional documentary,how to avoid the "discount" culture,under the premise of how to grasp the authenticity and objectivity,"localization" of the content of the different cultural output and allows the audience to deepen understanding,this is the difficulties of cross-cultural documentary.This paper is divided into five parts.The first chapter is an overview of the background and development status of cross-cultural documentaries,focusing on the analysis of the historical background of the development of cross-cultural documentaries,sorting out the relevant research results,and analyzing the research direction,content,characteristics and methods of the author.The second chapter discusses the creation of cross-cultural documentaries,mainly based on the dual considerations of crosscultural international vision and localization,how to highlight the social and historical context behind the characters in the process of globalization,and how to display the characters from different aspects of society.The third chapter mainly discusses the cross-cultural narrative perspective of the character documentaries.The narrative perspective is the establishment of the narrative viewpoint and narrative perspective of the creator,which runs through the narrative process of the story.The film mainly adopts the "first person" perspective and narrates through the perspective of the protagonist to eliminate the "cultural barrier" in the cross-cultural documentaries.The fourth chapter is the core content of the cross-cultural narrative of the character documentary,which analyzes the camera language,the presentation of different scenes,and the montage editing to carry out the video narrative.The fifth chapter analyzes the cross-cultural voice narration of character documentaries to present their unique use of voice,skillfully use local music,deepen understanding,help to have the vivid character image and the construction of personalized character image to make the character image more vivid.This paper will analyze the cross-cultural narrative of character documentaries from the perspective of cross-cultural communication,narrative and audio-visual language in combination with the graduation work nino in Georgia,so as to provide reference experience for the creation of the same type of character documentaries in the future.
