This article uses the perspective and method of art anthropology, based on the “fieldwork”,using questionnaires, interviews, and case studies to investigate and research Korean ceramic artists who currently open studios and conduct artistic activities in Jingdezhen,China. In the post-modern context, the traditional handicraft city Jingdezhen has undergone transformation and development.By examining the experiences and activities of the Korean ceramics artists here, the author explores the refactoring and changes of traditional ceramic crafts in the face of the impact of outsiders, and how Jingdezhen has attracted and influenced them.In the long development of ceramic art,China and Korea have always maintained the state of mutual exchange, and Korea is greatly influenced by China.Under this influence,Korea created many new ceramic culture and art. However, the two countries have different perspectives on the artistic value of porcelain making technology and modeling patterns, and different methods of using materials. Therefore,in accordance with the Korean mood and the Chinese characteristics of the ceramic culture must pursue innovation and development.Although in different cultural environment, but many South Korean artists came to Jingdezhen, through the use of local resources and technology, chose to "interact",that is,pay attention to and use the unique soil materials here to create their own unique features. The most important key words of anthropology are "foreign culture" and "otherness".The core idea of anthropology is to use the "foreign culture" and "otherness" as a mirror to reflect their own culture. As a Korean, the study of Korean artists living in Jingdezhen, the group of Korean students, should belong to the "own culture" research, but because the object of the study is located in China, such research will be based on the Chinese cultural space, and such space for the author of a Korean, should belong to the "foreign culture" research. In view of the dual cultural attributes mentioned above, the content of this thesis is full of challenges to the author. This challenge is undoubtedly one of globalization.Because today we can no longer find a closed space,a fixed group, space is open, groups are flowing. In this scene,Jingdezhen,a traditional handicraft city,is re-shaped into a brand new space. The group of people moving in this space is not only the traditional entertainers of Jingdezhen, but also the ceramic artists and ceramic practitioners from different countries and regions.Based on this, this thesis focuses on the Korean ceramic artists who are active in Jingdezhen, and explores their interaction with local ceramic artists. At the same time,in order to better present this international interactive scene, the author also took into account the basic situation of the ceramic artists in Jingdezhen in other countries.
