As one of the major categories of photography, human figures photography has infiltrated into more and more areas of our lives in the past 200 years. In the early days of photography, photographers used objective recording as the sole criterion for the quality of a photograph. With the update and advancement of technology, human figures photography began to develop in a new direction. What can be conveyed by photos and their artistic forms are constantly being given new ideas.More and more photographers are looking for personalized photos with obvious style, and use photography as a creative medium to express their artistic exploration of beauty.Promoted by the background of the times and class differences, the subjects are also eager to reconstruct their identity through photography.Identity construction not only exists in the subject's longing for the typical, public figures or their favorite images of various classes, but also becomes one of the important channels for photographers' conceptual expression. This thesis can be divided into four parts. The first part briefly explains the development of portraits and the historical changes of human figures photography. The second part discusses how the concept of identity has been structured in the history of human figures photography. The third part discusses the two different channels of identity construction for human figures photography and how we should treat them properly. The fourth part is from theory to practice, specifically elaborating the author's personal works and creative process. The author draws on Yusuf Kash's shooting skills and uses juxtaposition in the article to complete a series of works of "Slash Family" with a relatively subjective human figures photography technique. The author uses his works to analyze the social phenomenon of "slash crowd",hoping to change people's social prejudices, and re-understand the slash crowd from a more open and inclusive perspective.
