In recent years,the number of foreign students taking HSK has been increasing.In order to promote their development and enrich the form of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,this thesis selects two currently used apps——HSK online and HSK Practice with Yourself,which are aimed at the ancillary learning of Chinese proficiency,makes a comparative study of HSK online and HSK Practice with Yourself,investigates the use of HSK Online and HSK Practice with yourself by foreign students' and teachers' opinions about Chinese as a foreign language,makes a comparative analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of two softwares,thus providing some suggestions for both the design and development of Chinese learning softwares,ancillary Chinese learning apps and promoting Chinese.Through the research,it can be found that the prospect of the development in ancillary learning apps is optimistic,and the function of app assisting foreign students in learning Chinese is worthy of affirmation.At the same time,there are also six deficiencies.First,the special training content is insufficient.Second,the software is not stable enough to affect the users' experience.Third,it is difficult to combine its scientific features with interesting ones.Fourth,the free learning resources are less,and some fees for the software are too high.Fifth,the types of softwarelanguages are set less and the differences are ignored.Sixth,the update speed of the software content is slow.According to these,three suggestions are put forward for the development and promotion of the ancillary learning apps for Chinese Proficiency Test.First,the quality of the software should be improved to keep the balance on the development of various contents.Second,the development of Chinese leaning software should be encouraged and the standards of software market access increased.Third,the cooperation with teachers should be strengthened to promote international Chinese education.In addition,it is advised that teachers of teaching Chinese as a foreign language should not only appropriately use the ancillary learning apps in and out of class,but also learn from the design concept of these apps.
