The Interpretation Of Chinese Medieval Poetics In The Context Of Chinese Lyric Tradition

In the 1970 s,the overseas Chinese scholars Shih-hsiang Chen and Yu-kung Kao successively proposed the topic of Chinese Lyric Tradition.They held the academic position of comparing Chinese and western poetics and believed that Chinese literature has lyrical characteristics and that "Lyric Tradition" is the source of the development of Chinese literature.Since then,some scholars from overseas and Hong Kong?Taiwan have continued this academic thinking,focusing on the lyricism of Chinese literature,and conducting researches on Chinese classical literature from cultural origins,poetic concepts,lyric experiences,textual forms and other aspects.This paper will take the interpretation of Chinese medieval poetics in the context of Chinese Lyric Tradition as the research object.Sort out the interpretive content and theoretical views of Chinese Lyric Tradition on the study of middle poetics by tracing its diachronic development,revealing the new views and shortcomings of the study on middle ancient poetics from the perspective of Chinese Lyric Tradition in the way of comparing and contacting.The previous three chapters respectively correspond to the three stages of the study of medieval poetics from the perspective of Chinese Lyric Tradition,summarizing the related works and viewpoints of overseas scholars Yu-kung Kao,Kang-I Sun Chang,Chi Xiao and representative scholars in Taiwan.It focuses on the research paradigms and new theories in different stages of medieval poetics interpretation from the perspective of Chinese Lyric Tradition,as well as the continuity relationship and the exchange of views between different scholars.The conclusion part is a summary and reflection,which discusses the innovation and deficiency of the interpretation of middle ancient poetics from the perspective of Chinese Lyric tradition from the perspective of the construction of aesthetic theory and the discussion of literary history,providing a reference for the study of Chinese classical literature.
