Research On Social Function Of Traditional Temple Fair In Southwest Minorities

Southwest area is the main gatherings place for minorities in our country,on which breeds various kinds of civic activities with traditional minority characteristics.As an old traditional culture,temple fair plays a multiple roles in minorities' village life.This article makes deep research on the social function of temple fair from the angles of anthropology and ethnology by taking Sangwanggong temple fair in Sanjiang Dong minority autonomous city in Guangxi as fieldwork.Specify the purpose and significance of this subject first and then make relevant academic review of this research direction from three aspects.First,review and summarize the temple fair research situation in our country by four phases in chronological order.Second,describe the research situation of our minority temple fair in our country by scholars.Third,make literature review of related research on fieldwork Sangwanggong temple fair.Last,make introduction of the research methods and this article adopts the research method by combining fieldwork investigation and literature research together.The second part is the main body of the article,which makes introduction by three chapters.First,as an introduction and bedding,introduce the basic situation of fieldwork Sangwanggong,including its natural environment and cultural environment.Second,introduce the origin and content of Sanwangong temple fair,including belief legend of Sanwang and the origin of Sanwanggong temple fair;current situation of Sanwanggong;ceremony content of Sanwanggong temple fair and summarize the characteristics of Sanwanggong temple fair.Last,mainly analyze the social functions of Sanwangong temple fair which include place identification by ethnic group,strengthening of the platform function in old communities,carrier of inheriting the national culture and driving force of developing local economy.Third part is the conclusion and outlook.Analyze several enlightenments of Sanwanggong temple fair to public living construction in the southwest minorities in our country with the summary of whole article and on the basis of above research.First,temple fair is helpful in obeying the public social moral requirements.Second,temple fair helps to combine people's spiritual life and real life together.Third,temple fair helps to activate and collect civil resource.Fourth,temple fair is good to stabilize social order in minority areas.
