The Dilemma And Outlet Of Human Subjectivity In The Context Of Consumer Society

Since the 1960s,Western capitalist society entered a new stage that from the the capital-oriented society evolution to the consumer-oriented society,the French philosopher Jean Baudrillard called it "Consumer Society".Compared with the pre-modern society that people's basic survival needs are difficult to fully meet,the emergence of consumer society reflects the great progress of social productive forces,bringing people more choice of goods and better quality of life.But it also make people become anxious in front of the goods,easy to lose self,lost their real needs in the symbol of the jungle.Therefore,Based on the dilemma of human subjectivity in consumer society,this paper tries to analyze the causes of the dilemma of subjectivity in consumer society by asking questions,analyzing problems and solving problems,and actively exploring the path to solve the problem.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter briefly elaborate the basis of the problem,combs the research situation of this topic at home and abroad,introduces the research goals and research methods,the key,difficulty and innovation of the paper.The second chapter is the basic part of the paper.After clarifying the origin and connotation of the consumer society and the basic meaning of subjectivity,it discusses the concrete manifestation of human subjectivity in consumer society,including the materialization,illusion and absence of the subject.The third chapter analyzes the reason of the dilemma of human subjectivity in consumer society,which is helpful in understanding and solving problems.The fourth chapter is based on the realistic perspective of the structural transformation of China 's social development,and tries to explore the way to solve the problem.In the process of development in China's modernization and post-modernization,the impact of consumer society must always be in.With the increasing role of consumption in social life,the significance of consumption will also make a big change.Exploring the crisis of human subjectivity and thinking about the survival significance in Consumer Society,which is help to deepen our understanding of this theme that consumption activities and human's free and all-round development,So as to better grasp their own subjectivity,establish a scientific and rational consumption concept,constructing the consumption culture with chinese characteristics.
