The Study On The Social Support Of Long-term Care For The Urban Disabled Elderly

By the end of 2016,China's population over 60 years of age reached 220 million or more,the future peak is expected to reach more than 400 million.These data reflects the seriousness of the aging of our population which can not be ignored,especially the function of the long-term care and family care in daily life for the elderly is weakened,the demand of long-term care is exceeding the elderly supply or even in conflict.So the questions come out,‘who will not get old?',‘who will provide care for the aged?'With the problem,we also found that the demand for the old age care which from the simple protection of the basic living standards rose to multiple physiological and psychological needs,to provide abundant,suitable and various service needs for the elderly in the development of physiological and psychological has become the trend of the endowment industry,and who is to meet the demand and how to meet their needs is also a problem.Obviously the expensive endowment burden is unable to undertake for individuals and families who hope to,the main service support,such as government,market,institutions,NGO,volunteers and others go in the stage to make up for personal and family's failure and then solve the problems on providing for the aged of this big drama.So to integrate the social support into the long-term care for the urban disabled elderly so that to balance the supply and demand situation as a breakthrough on the endowment problem.With the reform of society,China's endowment model is also advancing with the times,according to Maslow's hierarchy of needs to study the elderly demand and social support,the diversification of endowment is the exclusive choice to make up for the failure of family care.It can be seen that the social support system of long-term care for the disabled elderly is conform to the trend of social history to govern the county by different ways.Social support is not only to benefit tens of millions of disabled elderly welfare,but also to enrich and improve China's social security system.This paper takes the Chengguan district of Lanzhou City in Gansu Province as a microcosm,which based on the research background of the topic,the current research situations at home and abroad and some related theories,it studies the financial condition,daily life,medical security and emotional variation of the urban disabled elderly,analyzes the problems and causes of the long-term care of the social support,so as to provide some references for the improvement of constructing the social supporting system for the long-term care of the urban disabled elderly.
