A Study About Cultivating The Socialist Core Values By Promoting The Long March Spirit

Prosperity,democracy,civilization,harmony,freedom,equality,justice,law,patriotic,dedication,honesty,friendliness are the twenty-four words Socialist Core Values which was elaborated in the report of the 18 th National Congress of the CPC.From putting forward the proposal of building a socialist core value system in the Sixth Plenary Session of the 16 th CPC Central Committee,to elaborating the Socialist Core Values in the report of the 18 th National Congress of the CPC,and then the report of the 19 th CPC National Congress further emphasized that "the Socialist Core Values is the concentrated embodiment of the contemporary Chinese spirit and condense the common values of the entire people." We can conclude that the Socialist Core Values has become a question that deserves further study.The Long March Spirit was formed during the strategic shift from October 1934 to October 1936,for the reason that the Chinese Workers and Peasants Red Army under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party has been defeated in the defeat of the Fifth Anti-Campaign.As an excellent revolutionary spirit,the Long March Spirit has been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.Although academics have already done some research on promoting the Long March Spirit and cultivating and practicing the Socialist Core Values,they fall to combine them together and make full use of the advantages of the Long March Spirit to Serve the Cultivation of the Socialist Core Values.Thus this paper tries to combine the two to find out the specific path of fostering the Socialist Core Values by promoting the Long March spirit,which is innovative in research perspective and research content.This paper studies the meaning and contemporary value of the Socialist Core Values and the Long March Spirit,then analyzing the relationship between them,and on the basis of analyzing the existing problems in nurturing the Socialist Core Values in the Long March Spirit,this article puts forward the principles,methods,specific approaches and mechanism guarantees to develop the Socialist Core Values in the Long March Spirit.
