Since the 90s of last century,the rapid economic development and deepened social transformation helped our country to come into rapid urbanization.Leading by governments,urbanized village communities provided an important way to urbanization under the dual structure of cities and villages.However,the urbanized village communities were between cities and villages,their characteristics were special,which leading to the household cultural capital accumulation in the communities were not synchronizing with the urbanization and the difficulty for children to transform their identities.Taking the urbanized village communities of X community in Kunming as studying subject,the communities' influence on family education and the urbanization of offspring via the analysis of family education from cultural capitalism view.Cultural capital is divided by cultural capital theory into three forms:embodiment,objectification and institutionalization.Physical cultural capital directly influences family education,and objective cultural capital and systematic cultural capital consolidated physical cultural capital,resulting in the indirect influence on family education.With several-decade'rapid development,social structure in China tends to be stable,but the social class has not been solidified yet.In such a background,family education plays an important role in propelling the lower class to the higher class.So the re-production of cultural capital pushes the social class upward and promotes their social status.Owing to the long-term agricultural production and life,it is hard for the parents in the urbanized village communities to accumulate the cultural capital enough to meet urban mainstream.They are lacing of cultural commodities,diplomas and certificates,which makes their family education inadequate compared with urban family education.But based on the accumulation of cultural capital,time and increasing work experience definitely can make their cultural capital expanding in the communities,family education is advanced continuously.In respect of the idea of family education,there is conceptual overlap of traditional rural education and modern education in those urbanized village communities.Regarding the content of family education,it is a change from simplification to diversification,comprehensive development is emphasized more.Authoritarian or indulgent education method is transformed to democrat one,and more rationally.To help the children in the urbanized village communities be urbanized smoothly,governments at different levels and communities should give a favor to them for family education to better the results.
