The Study On The United Front Work To Internet Opinion Producers

The popularity of Internet and mobile applications have created a virtual space for opinion expression and social participation.Internet opinion leaders is an emerging group in this space.In our study of United Front,these Internet opinion leaders are called Internet opinion producers.Conceptually,Internet opinion producers are defined as”activists" who provide information and opinions on the Internet and have certain influence on others.In essence,Internet opinion producers can be seen as the "influencing class" on the Internet.Using the method of big data analysis,this paper selected sample objects,captured data,marked and performed the overall characteristics analysis.It is found that this male-dominant group of opinion producers are mainly made up by media people and entertainers.This group is keen to participate in public affairs,and shows the behavioral characteristics of highly original and frequent postings.In addition,according to their tendency of political attitude,this group is divided into three categories:active followers,dissidents and alienators between the two.This classification makes it easy for United Front work because the three types of Internet opinion producers have their own characteristics and patterns in their opinion production.As the products of the Internet society,Internet opinion producers make influence as a natural channel for political participation,from the view of their political function and their roles in the evolution of public opinions.In addition,as the main promotor in the process of the evolution of public opinion,they set topics,decided the agenda framework,modeled social behaviors,built social consensus and mobilized the society,creating huge influence to both public opinions and social development.As this emerging influencing class has made great impact on the society,it is important and essential to include them in United Front work.It meets the inevitable requirement for the consolidation and development of the most widespread patriotic united front,for the winning of people's mind and building social consensus in the new period of united front work,and for the maintenance of social harmony and stability and ideological security.This group can promote Internet democracy,influence public opinions on the Internet and purify the Internet environment.They can promote the Internet literacy of the youth group through the influence of their ideas and attitudes on the Internet,where most netizens are young people.At present,the United Front Work for Internet opinion producers is still not mature.One reason is that the dissimilation of their influence power and the polarization of their group makes it difficult for united front work.Another reason is that there are many shortcomings of current united front work,such as formalization,passivity,and ineffective communication channel.In order to solve the current challenges facing the United Front Work for Internet opinion producers,the most urgent thing we should do is to have a positive view of this group,make specific policies according to their specific opinions and treat the representativeness of their opinions.Secondly,we should enhance the guidance and supervision on Internet opinion producers and the exploration and training of the representatives from them.Last,online interactions and offline communications should be coordinated in United Front work.New strategies and tactics should be innovated in the new ecosystem of Internet+ society.
