Research On Intellectual Property Rights Of Large-scale Sports Events In China

With the rapid development of China's economy,the increase in national income,the growth requirement of consumption demand and capacity.As the same time,the improvement of the country's macroeconomic policies,China's sports industry has been improved accordingly.As the core and foundation of the sports industry,sports events are ushering in a new period of development.The copyrights for high-quality sporting events are being eagerly for purchases,and the liberalization of the competition approval system draws the participation of more and more enterprises.Local governments also successively issued relevant documents to vigorously support social forces to hold all kinds of large-scale mass sports games.Therefore,the socialization of sports events will be general trend.The intellectual property transaction of sports events will be inevitable.This thesis adopts the research methods of referring literature,consulting experts and logical analysis.Firstly,I sort out research results of sports events and sports event intellectual property rights to form a relatively complete system of copyright of sports events.Secondly,I analyzethe constitution of intellectual property rights of large-scale sports events in China.In the end,I make a comprehensive analysis of the constitute of copyright of large-scale sporting events in China.From a broad perspective,sports events intellectual property rights(IP)and sports events copyright can be regarded as equal.However,it is necessary to clarify the connotation and denotation of these two concepts when competition is a product.We believe that the intellectual property rights of sports events(IP)include the copyright of sports events,which are part of the intellectual property of the event.In essence,the copyright of the event is a complete sporting event with an ornamental value or an adjustment,similar to a performance.At the same time,due to the property rights of the tournament,the right to join the competition-the right of sponsorship,the right to broadcast,the right to sell the tickets,the right to develop the derivatives and other rights,are all the right to produce the corresponding commercial value,and also the basic right of the event to carry on the property right transaction.
