Guan Gong Culture's Value Miningin Cultivating Citizen's Core Values

Guan Gong culture is one of China's traditional fine cultures.During the centuries of its formation and development,it gradually evolved from a heroic figure in history to become a Guan Gong image that covers three religions,covers the whole society,and extends home and abroad,the impact is far-reaching.The report of the Nineteenth Congress proposed insisting on nurturing and practicing the core values of socialism and promoting the creative transformation and innovative development of Chinese fine traditional culture.Chinese civilization has a long history,and rich value concept contained in it.This provides an important cultural soil for the further cultivation of Citizen-level core values.This article first discusses the forming process,connotation,expression form,and contemporary influence of Guan Gong culture,to make us realize that the values contained in Guan Gong culture still have a wide influence in today's societySecondly,it analyzes the connotation of Guan Gong culture's values of “loyalty,justice,benevolence,and courage” and its difference and connection with patriotism,dedication,honesty,and friendliness.In addition,we analyzed the necessity and feasibility of excavating the cultural values of Guan Gong when we cultivated the citizen-level core values.Finally,the Guan Gong culture is associated with patriotism,dedication,integrity and friendliness,specifically explored the value mining methods and approaches,and summed up the value mining theory and practical enlightenment.The value connotation of Guan Gong culture provides a cultural foundation for the further cultivation and development of the core values of the citizen level.At the same time,it is also abstracted as concrete and provides an important way forthe further popularization of patriotism,dedication,integrity,and friendliness.
