Research On China's Food Safety Legal System

Food safety involves national and people's livelihood.Therefore,whether in terms of legislation or administration,the issues involved in the field of food safety should be based on laws.However,a large number of food safety incidents have been exposed,so that people have to re-examine China's food safety legal system.Food safety is a technical issue.It is also an economic and management issue.It is also a legal issue.Whether it is agricultural products,food industry,food and beverage companies,or production,processing,circulation,and consumption,it is inseparable from the constraints of the legal system.The legal system of food safety in our country has a long history.Although it is continuously improving,there are still deficiencies and it is unable to meet the current social food safety control needs.Insufficiency in integration and coordination,confusion in the standards system,and defects in supervision and social regulation,these issues are not resolved and the occurrence of food safety problems cannot be stopped at the source.Therefore,the governance of food safety should start with the fundamental legal system,integrate existing laws,improve standards,clarify supervision,enhance openness,and improve the supporting systems,etc.,so as to meet the current needs for food safety governance.
