In the literature of song and Jin Dynasties,"Lugan Country" and "Mu Bo" were recorded as two Tibetantribes or super tribal associations.Scholars of the history of Jin Tibetan history also believe it.In fact,the two tribal forces are closely related to the local regime,and the extent of them is superimposed."Lu Gan" or "Lu Ganzi" is called “Mdo Gams” now,which is a geographical name in Tibetan culture."MuBo" is a wood family man,refers to the Dong nationality of Mdo Gams and Mu nationality of Mdo Smad.The former is called from ethnic grouprather than preciseness,while the latter is called from the local ruling clan.This explanation also explains why the historical activities of "Lugan" and "MuBo" are mainly concentrated in the Tibetan area in the south of the river state,but they can reach the western boundary of Sichuan.
