Research On NingXia Hui Marriage Custom

The Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region is the place where lives most of the Hui population in China,and it is also the most distinctive area where the Hui and Han nationalities can merge with each other.Because the Hui Muslims lived in the area for a long period of time,so this place was formed a unique culture,religion,and way of thinking that distinguishes them from the Hui people in other regions.Specially,Hui's marriage custom is the best characteristic customary law which can response the people's live in the area.The marriage customs of Ningxia Hui are highly recognized and implemented by religious organizations and Muslims in the region and have deep-seated influence.At the same time,it is great importance to the prosperity of the people and the steady development of the region in Ningxia.In this article,through investigation:It was found that the marriage habits of the Ningxia Hui area mainly include marriage age,monogamous system,prohibition of intermarriage between pagans,intermarriage,media system,family setting system,bride price,wedding ceremony,waiting time system and divorce.In the ten aspects,through analyzing the marriage habits of these Hui people,it is found that there are both parts that are consistent with the national law and different from the national law.The reasons for the marriage habits in the Hui region of Ningxia are mainly due to the influence of traditional religious beliefs,the geographical environment of Ningxia,and regional economic factors.These marriage habits have a direct impact on the marital life of the people.In this regard,it is necessary to adjust the relationship between marriage habits and state law by strengthening the rule of law of local government personnel,strengthening the popularization of propaganda in ethnic areas,and actively carrying out legislation and judicial work.So try to promote the marriage habits of Hui nationality in Ningxia and China's statutory law in the mutual development of conscience.
