In the process of improving Party conduct and government integrity in rural areas,we should not under-estimate the power of the institutions for elderly people,as this kind of institution had formed for a long time for special reasons.And government regulation may not pay much attention to these institutions.Recent years,the elderly people institutions had been involved in some violations of discipline.It is a big subject for us that how to guide them to develop properly and make them to become important strength to keep the rural area peace and harmony.This paper took the elderly institutions in Ouhai for example.By doing on-site inspections and information collected from functional department,the author discussed the standardization management of the elderly institutions by nailing down the legal status,regulating system construction,strengthening the supervision of capital assets and legalization of activity places.In addition,help them to play an effective role in social management and promote community harmony,while providing equal protection to the elders and improve their social welfare.
