With the rapid development of aging and urbanization in China, the number of Left-behind elderly in rural areas is increasing, while the number of family caregivers is decreasing, which leads to the problem of long-term care for disabled elderly in rural areas becoming increasingly prominent.Under the situation that the old-age care function of rural community, especially the care function, has not been developed and perfected, the support function of institutional care as a diversified care supply system is becoming more and more obvious.During the 12 th five-year plan period, rural private pension institutions were established and developed. However,as China's long-term care system is not yet perfect, rural private pension institutions also have many problems in the care of disabled elderly people. This paper takes five rural private pension institutions in B County of Henan Province as the research object, and conducts in-depth research on the care of disabled elderly in these five private pension institutions through questionnaires and interviews.Firstly, this paper describes the construction and operation of rural private pension institutions, the situation of the disabled elderly living in,the supply of care services and the situation of the nursing staff. On this basis,it is analyzed that the difficulties of rural private pension institutions in the care of disabled elderly are as follows: The content and supporting facilities of care services are imperfect, mainly inclined to daily care services;the mobility of nursing staff is high and the professional level is low;the management of care services and nursing staff in rural private pension institutions is not standardized;the government has not improved and implemented the subsidy policy of the suppliers and demanders of care services. In view of the dilemma existing in rural private pension institutions, the practical solutions given in this paper are: to clarify the responsibilities of government policy support and supervision,to improve the daily care services of rural private pension institutions,to establish health records,to provide multi-form training for institutional nurses,to gradually improve treatment according to the length of nursing work, and to encourage the development of urban and rural pension institutions to "pair up".As well as giving full play to the role of multi-subjects in society,to gradually improve the quality of long-term care for disabled elderly in rural private pension institutions.
