The Study Of Plekhanov's Thought Of Inner-party Democracy

For a long time,Plekhanov,the leader and founder of the Russian Marxist Communist Party,is the most influential and controversial ideologist during the second international.Due to the various historical reasons,his thought of inner-party democracy has been controversial and do not receive due attention of academic circles.With the drastic changes in Eastern Europe and the disintegration of the Soviet Union,socialism in the world has entered a period of depression.The development of socialism has faced unprecedented difficulties,and the construction of political parties in the socialist countries has also been greatly impacted.In addition,with the continuous development of the market economy in China,a series of problems have appeared in the construction of the party,especially the Democratic Party Construction in the party,which seriously hinders the development of the party.In the process of reflection on these problems,Plekhanov's inner party democratic thought has gained more and more attention from the academic circles,and its contemporary value is becoming more and more prominent.Based on the relevant research results have been made in the academic circles,starting from the historical background and theoretical origin of the birth of Plekhanov's inner-party democratic thought and combining with Plekhanov and Lenin debate on issues related to inner-party democracy,this paper divides the development process of Plekhanov's thought of inner-party democracy into three different periods,and especially discussed the main content of the thought in different period of development,characteristics and the regularity of his thought development in order to further promote the relevant research in academic circles.The main body of this article consists of four interrelated parts.The first part:investigating the historical background and theoretical origin of Plekhanov's thought of inner-party democracy.About on the historical background,at the end of nineteenth Century to early twentieth Century,with the European capitalist industry is growing rapidly in the scope of whole world,the bourgeois democracy also develops rapidly,the proletariat and the Socialist Workers' movement are constantly growing,these promote the establishment of a European Socialist Party.In addition,the Russian development of capitalist is also very fast,the degree of industrial concentration is getting higher and higher,the proletariat has grown,the proletariat liberation movement continues to rise,these also directly promote the establishment of the Social Democratic Party of Russia.But in the beginning of the Russian Social Democratic Party,there are many ideological and organizational issues,these issues urgently need the scientific party construction theory to support.About to the theory origin,Plekhanov inner-party democratic thought mainly comes from Karl Marx,Engels's thought of inner-party democracy.In addition,during the period of the second International Workers Party leaders and relevant theories of Russian Populism have a certain influence on Plekhanov's thought of inner-party democracy.The second part:In this article,Plekhanov's thought of inner-party democracy is scientifically divided into three periods of rudiment,formation and mature.And the article also discusses the laws of the formation and development and characteristics of each stage of the thought.The embryonic period,Plekhanov focuses on the basic principles of democracy of the party,Party discipline and the importance of party a majority of preliminary discussion,clear the significance of inner-party democracy in the party construction.The formation period,based on theories of the embryonic period,Plekhanov further explains how to strengthen the party's discipline of thought,thought of inner-party democratic centralism and ideological party majority.The mature period,Plekhanov perfected the thought of inner-party democracy,clearly put forward the relationship between strengthening the discipline of the party and the protection of basic rights of Party members,the relationship between inner-party democracy and centralism,the relationship between the majority and minority of the party and protection of democratic rights and other point of view,it is to develop and deepen his previous ideas about inner-party democracy.The third part discusses the debates of Plekhanov and Lenin on issues related to inner-party democracy.The debates are mainly around the party organization and authority,the related problems of the Party Congress,problems of the relationship between discipline and individual rights in the party,problems of the relationship between the majority and minority.In addition,the similarities and differences of their debates about Inner-party Democratic Thoughts and positive significance are analyzed and summarized in this article.The fourth part:interpreting the historical position,modern enlightenment and limitation of Plekhanov's inner-party democratic thought.Plekhanov's thought of inner-party democracy is an important part of development process of Marx's inner-party democracy thought during the second international.Plekhanov inherited the Marx,Engels' inner-party democratic thoughts,clearly put forward the relationship between the party organization and discipline and the spirit of democracy,the relationship between the party concentration and the democracy,the relationship between democratic rights and individual power,it not only provides an important reference for scholars in the contemporary to further enrich and develop Marx's thought of inner-party democracy,but also is an important inspiration and reference to helps to solve the problems of inner-party democracy of our country and promote Construction of socialist democratic politics with Chinese characteristics.But objectively speaking,Plekhanov's thought of inner-party democracy also has some limitations.Its thinking is divorcing from the reality of the Russian Social Democratic Party,overemphasizing the role of bourgeois democratic spirit,and having the color of class harmony...
