Reseach On Copyright Protection Of Library Digital Resources Based On Blockchain

With the emergence and continuous progress of the Internet,the information dissemination methods and speed have undergone tremendous changes.In this situation,the library is no longer simply used as a place for people to borrow and read books.Instead,it focuses more on developing and providing diversified resources and services so as to fully utilize cultural knowledge.However,because of the fast dissemination of digital resources,wide range,easy replication and some other reasons,libraries are faced with many copyright risks that hinder the rapid development of libraries.Therefore,whether or not these copyright issues can be reasonably resolved play a crucial role in the development of libraries.The blockchain technology,known by the rise of Bitcoin,can play a significant role in the field of digital copyright protection by virtue of its features of decentralization,openness,transparency,non-deterrence and traceability.Firstly,the paper analyzes the copyright risk of the digital resources of libraries and the protection methods such as laws and technical means.It also points out that in the copyright protection,there is still the dilemma that the ownership of the works is difficult to prove and the evidence in copyright disputes are difficult to obtain.Secondly,the relevant technologies and features of blockchain are introduced in the paper,and the copyright service functions that the current blockchain can provide are analyzed through five platforms.Through the decentralization of the blockchain,copyright co-regulation can be implemented to improve the security and efficiency of copyright management.The characteristics of difficult to tamper with data make the credibility of copyright certificates more reliable and reduce the difficulty of copyright proof.The combination of blockchain and smart contracts can be realize self-owned copyright distribution to meet copyright transaction requirements.On this basis,aiming at the copyright risk of digital resources and the dilemma of copyright protection in libraries,this paper proposes the application scenario of blockchain in the copyright protection of library digital resources,including proof of ownership of the works,use authorization of works,and DCI system services.The paper discusses the specific implementation process ofapplying blockchain to libraries: the library blockchain copyright system of public libraries,university libraries,and scientific research libraries should be established on the basis of standards development and library alliances.After the blockchain application matures,it docks with the global nodes to realize the circulation of library digital resources without borders.Finally,the paper puts forward the challenges that may be faced by copyright protection of library digital resources based on blockchain,and gives his own suggestions on four aspects of law,talents and technology,awareness and action.
