Research On Digital Copyright Protection Application Based On Blockchain Technology

With the development of social information and Internet technology,listening to music,reading e-books,watching and downloading resources such as novels or videos of interest on the Internet has become a common practice in people's lives.However,while people enjoy these digital knowledge,they often ignore the issue of the protection of the rights of these knowledge.In the Internet environment,digitally copyrighted content can be easily copied and distributed through other platforms.Such infringements are concealed and difficult to be discovered.After the discovery,the evidence collection is difficult,and it is difficult to determine the subject of the infringement,which is extremely troublesome for digital copyright protection.The traditional digital copyright registration channel not only saves time and money,but also hardly keeps pace with the iteration of Internet content update,which further aggravates the difficulty of digital property rights protection.In recent years,blockchain technology has been the focus of attention as the underlying technology of Bitcoin.Blockchain technology is the result of a combination of innovative technologies that include key technologies such as P2 P network protocols,distributed consensus algorithms(consensus mechanisms),cryptographic signature algorithms,account and storage models,and smart contracts.The application of these technologies makes the blockchain decentralized,non-tamperable,and uniquely time stamped.This paper believes that these features are exactly what digital copyright protection needs.Decentralization and smart contracts can reduce the cost of digital copyright registration management.The function of time stamping brings convenience to infringement and evidence collection,and the parent hash can carry out copyright traceability.Based on the above analysis,this paper studies the application of decoupling,non-tamperable,and unique time stamping of blockchain technology in digital copyright protection.Two different blockchain types,public chain and alliance chain,are selected.Starting from the three dimensions of “rights-defense rights”,the specific digital copyright protection platform based on blockchain technology was designed from architecture to process,and the advantages and disadvantages of the two types of blockchain protection platforms were compared.At the same time,it is also pointed out that blockchain technology is not omnipotent,and the protection of digital copyright cannot be completely covered,and there are potential technical risks.
