The master degree education of the master of Public Administration(MPA)is mainly for the training and delivery of high quality applied talents with public management theory and public policy research ability for government departments and other public institutions.With China's economic and social development in the"new normal" stage,government agencies at all levels put forward higher requirements for the comprehensive quality of public management talents.However,according to the survey results of graduate curriculum satisfaction in recent two years,postgraduates' satisfaction with curriculum teaching is relatively low.The quality of the course teaching determines the quality of MPA education to a certain extent.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the satisfaction of students who receive MPA education for improving the quality of education.This study takes three universities in A,B and C in Hubei Province as an investigation and research unit,and conducts an empirical research on MPA graduate's curriculum satisfaction.It mainly contains six parts:The first part describes the background,purpose and significance of the research,clarifies the research train of thought,determines the basic framework of research methods and articles.The second part:from three aspects of College Students' satisfaction,professional degree graduate courses and MPA courses,the relevant literature at home and abroad is collected,collate,and the literature review is carried out.The third part:define the core concept of this paper,and construct the theoretical framework of this research.The fourth part:the text analysis of the MPA course system of the selected three colleges and universities,summarizes the development process of MPA education in China and the history and present situation of the MPA curriculum system.The fifth part:Taking the self-designed MPA professional degree graduate curriculum satisfaction questionnaire as the tool,taking the MPA graduate students of three colleges and universities in Hubei as the survey object,the questionnaire survey of the satisfaction of the MPA graduate students was conducted,and the satisfaction of the MPA postgraduates was summed up through the analysis of the data of the questionnaire survey,and the satisfaction of the graduate students was summed up.Further analysis of the current MPA curriculum system problems.The sixth part:Based on the problems existing in the MPA course system,and on the basis of the experience of the well-known MPA universities at home and abroad,the countermeasures to improve the degree of satisfaction of the MPA graduate students are put forward.The results show that:(1)MPA graduate students' curriculum satisfaction is better in general.(2)the satisfaction of MPA graduate students to teachers' teaching satisfaction is the highest and the satisfaction of practice is the lowest.(3)MPA graduate students'motivation for learning is more utilitarian.(4)the main factors of students' complaints are:the lack of practical courses in the curriculum;the learning effect,the application ability of management and leadership are lower than other aspects;practice links,lack of practice base,and the guidance of the school tutors are not strong.The main factors of student loyalty are as follows:in the teacher's teaching,the MPA graduate students are more loyal to the qualifications and attitude of the teachers;in the teaching resources,the MPA students are loyal to the selection of teaching materials,the recommendation of the reference bibliography and the use of the library resources;in the course of the study,the students of MPA must be professional direction.The learning process of the course is satisfactory,and it is more recognized for its attendance in class.(5)the multiple linear regression analysis was used to explore the relationship between the overall curriculum satisfaction and various factors.The results showed that among the seven independent variables,four of the independent variables had a significant impact on the overall evaluation of the curriculum,and the degree of influence was in the course of curriculum,learning process,teaching management and teachers.According to the analysis of interview and survey data,there are still some problems in the MPA course,such as unreasonable course setting,single teaching method,insufficient teaching resources,low learning enthusiasm for students,imperfect evaluation method of curriculum and lack of practice in practice.On the basis of the existing problems,on the basis of the experience of MPA education in well-known universities and colleges at home and abroad,the suggestions and countermeasures are put forward to improve the degree of satisfaction of the MPA graduate students,including the adjustment of the curriculum structure,the optimization of the course content,the improvement of teachers' ability,the innovation of teaching methods,the improvement of the curriculum resources,the strengthening of the curriculum management and the mobilization of students' enthusiasm for learning and so on.
